Welcome to Krishi Mitra Foundation. Our organization is dedicated to empowering farmers by facilitating access to the latest agricultural technologies and expert. Established by Dnyaneshwar Pawar in July 2014, we began our journey by creating a WhatsApp group to connect farmers across Maharashtra. With the launch of our website in July 2020 and participation of over eighteen hundred farmers, we are committed to advancing growth and innovation within the agricultural community. Mr. Dnyaneshwar Pawar

Dnyaneshwar Pawar is a visionary in sustainable agriculture, renowned for his innovative contributions to rural development, climate tech, and farmer empowerment. He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from VNMKV Parbhani University and began his journey in 2014, founding the Krishi Mitra Foundation on Maharashtra Agriculture Day. This initiative initially connected farmers via WhatsApp, eventually evolving into a robust network of 1,800 farmers across Maharashtra. Under his leadership, Krishi Mitra has facilitated knowledge exchange, technology adoption, and government collaboration, including his role in the Maharashtra Gram Samajik Parivartan Abhiyan (2018–2020).
In addition to Krishi Mitra, Dnyaneshwar founded EcoKrishi Solutions, focusing on turning agricultural waste into sustainable inputs like biochar and biostimulants, promoting eco-friendly farming. EcoKrishi also explores renewable energy and carbon credit solutions, recognized by Startup India for its innovative approaches.
He is also a director at Ecoavinya Pvt. Ltd., which drives climate action and soil improvement technologies, particularly leveraging biochar for carbon sequestration and agricultural sustainability. Ecoavinya aims to tackle pressing environmental challenges through cutting-edge research and collaboration.
